Hi there, we're planning a long weekend this weekend inc. some time in the Cotswolds. We don't really know the area v well, any pointers to nice restaurants/things to do?

We like walking in the country and visiting gardens, nice teashops etc

Which bit of the Cotswolds ? It's quite a big area

Moreton in Marsh and Bourton on the Hill are v nice, with some v good gardens around

Moreton in Marsh/Wiltshire I was thinking. Batsford arboretum looks nice.

Thanks

Batsford is good - if Sezincote (may not be right spelling, indian inspired house and garden) is open that looks fab, and there is another good garden in BoH too.

While at that end, why not go to Broadway ? Fab views from the tower, a lovely hotel, and a pretty place generally

Chipping Camden Cotswold House or The Kings Hotel

Thank you my lovelies!

OK so we're going to the Cotswold House Hotel for db&b on the Fri and Sat night, and definitely like the look of Sezincote too.

Oooh am getting all excited now!
