can i take a kid b/day cake on a plane??

hi
iam going to turkey on wed 29th,my ds b/day is on saterday and he keeps saying he wants a mickey mouse cake.can i take this on with hand luggage? just i have been looking up and it just says about liquids,sharp tool's nothing about food.i have thought about putting it in suitcase it could end up in bit's at other side

I would think so because it can be x-rayed. But I am only guessing.

A cake (without birthday candles on it) would be fine to take on an aircraft.

Yes' but tbh the chances of it surviving are about zero I would think! I would take a MM cake topper and buy a cake there!

They do beautiful birthday cakes in Turkey, maybe it would be easier to get one there? I got my dd's first birthday cake in Turjkey and it was amazing.
