Is Now the Best Time to Book for Summer 2011?

Looking to get away for last 2 weeks in August - probably Spain. Is now the cheapest time to book? Also, any cheap sites to use? So far, the best I've come up with is £1460 for 1 adult + 2 kids through Holiday Hypermarket (Must be half-board so I don't end up spending the whole hol cooking!!)

TIA :)

I always book at least a year in advance.

You will probably find an all inclusive for around 1500 if you search around. We were in Spain in July and just got back from Menorca last night. I would definately recommend all inc as opposed to half board due to the high cost of drinks and snacks etc.

Tbh I think the bigger firms often have the best prices.

Thanks Geek. Didn't think about going AI but will check that out too. Looks like I'd better get booking quickly!

We booked spain in July for next may. Booked with first choice, and got an ai for a week for £1400!!
We are going away with friends in july for a week,- probably France. We will book flights as soon as they are released by Ryanair for the cheapest price,- probably November. Did this last year as well for both holidays this year.
We always book early. In my experience, prices always rise rather than fall.

taken the plunge & booked 2 weeks in Spain for next August for the 3 of us - half board, came to £1308 (but should get about £65 back in cashback through quidco). Only 11 months to go... :)

Fantastic. You've got a great price as well.

We have booked for next year. This way we get what we want and where. I'm less worried about discounts.

I think prices are cheaper a year in advance. It is also less stress if its booked. You can then sit back and look forward to it.
