Anyone been to Balaerics in May?

I wa sin Ibiza in early May this year. Variable weather with locals saying May usually has 2 weeks of good weather and 2 weeks of bad. Think we got the 2 bad ones

My dh & eldest dds went to Majorta in May a few years ago & had brilliant weather - hardly recognised them when they came back, they were so brown
Think its probably a matter of luck though.

Last year I went to Menorca in May, and I couldn't fault the weather. It was certainly warm enough to lie out in it, we all came back with a nice tan, although you might want a jumper in the evenings.

when i lived in majorca, i can clearly remember a dramatic increase in temperature from april into may, id say it will be warm, possibly early/mid 70's. But it will be "fresh" on the evenings.

Yes been to Ibiza in May (yonks ago !) - nice & warm but not boiling - goes cooler in the evenings though. Maybe a higher chance of rain though

We went to Alcudia on May 2nd - one day of non stop rain, thirteen days of glorious sunshine, in fact got really sunburnt altho everyone said the week before we went was terrible so maybe we were lucky. Also been to Ibiza in the middle of May and again it was roasting. Altho as everyone said you need a cardi in the evenings and I had to put extra blankets on the bed.

Perfect time to go IMO, hot during the day but with a nice temperature in the evenings. Smaller crowds as well. Much better to go during MAy than during the summer months.

mosschops - we went to menorca a couple of years ago at the end of april & came back as brown as!!! only thing was the water in the sea & our pool was v.cold
lovely time though!
