Oh no Neilson don't do sailing in Dahab anymore - DD is so gutted - where else can we go?

Can't afford MW really

But DD loves her sailing

Another recent thread on MW said that no one ever pays full price as there are offers and laast minute deals (and a MN discount on top of that) so that it can often work out cheaper than Neilson even though the headline price is higher.

Really?

I'll look but I don't think we can

Have you looked at Minorca sailing? We have not been but out sailing mad SIL raves about it and has lots of friends who go there.

I've heard Minorca Sailing is all a bit 'blazers in the club-house,' and a bit of a sailing bootcamp. That might be your bag, though Smile.

We went to Kenya with Neilson this summer which was fab, thinking of maybe MW Corsica next year.

beautifulgirls · 25/09/2010 17:14

No idea if they are any good/prices, but have you looked at sunsail?

MABS · 25/09/2010 17:54

have you looked at sportif?

KatyMac · 25/09/2010 18:00

Minorca seems a bit full on for us.....& closed in December

Sportif doesn't seem to do sailing

Sunsail look interesting - I never did flottilla sailing before....I think it needs thought

Oh, is it that sort of sailing? I thought you meant dinghies.

We've done two flottillas, once with Neilson and once with Sailing Holidays. I think it's possible to do them in the Carribbean outside of the Med season.

KatyMac · 25/09/2010 18:15

No - it is normally dinghies.....but the whole December thing is a deal breaker

WhatsWrongWithYou · 25/09/2010 18:18

Well, you can dinghy sail in Kenya with Neilson, not sure if they're not just as expensive as MW, though.

KatyMac · 25/09/2010 18:19

Don't we need inoculations n stuff for Kenya (not really knowing & sounding a bit dim)....sounds fab

Don't you just! Yellow fever, Hep A + C (optional but recommended afair), and we had to update typhoid and tetanus, plus the dreaded malarone. Check online as I had five of us to sort out and we al needed different things.

KatyMac · 25/09/2010 19:06

Err no then I think not

At least not until I am sure DD's problems weren't inoculation based & that DH could cope with malaria treatments alongside his current meds
