Night flight - tips on coping with 7 month old baby

We are coming back from Greece (so only circa 4 hour flight but enough !) on an 11pm flight - 3 year old should be fine with her own seat but is it just a matter of holding our baby in our arms to sleep ? Is there no better way ? Given there is no allocated seat we can't even take a car seat.

Tips from seasoned travellers please ! There must be some benefits from travelling so late (ie both girls asleep !).

Many thanks.

Can you get the bulkhead seats. That way you can use the bassinet. Make the most of it, the best flying we did was when DD was a baby. The younger they are the easier it is IME.

Are you breastfeeding? Get a travel breastfeeding cushion - makes having them on your lap much easier.

Hi,

If you are planning to use the bassinet then make sure you call in advance (ASAP) in case someone else with a baby books it.

You'll find some tips for flying with a baby on my website:

All the best and have a great holiday.
