Anyone got any recommendations for next summers holiday ?

Hi everyone,

Having had a bit of a dull Cornish holiday this year - my mind has turned to next summer !!

We fancy getting a villa with pool somewhere warm - probably mid July. With a 5 yr old.

Have just started looking on net and am overwhelmed - anyone care to recommend anywhere ?

Malta is lovely, very friendly, very child friendly, only 3 hours on the plane and a company called Mercury Direct (advertises in all the newspapers in travel sections), specialises in it and cost is very reasonable.
Guaranteed sunshine too.

I'm hooked on California and intend to spend every holiday for the rest of my life exploring its coastline. Wouldn't go inland (too hot) but beaches are a lovely 75F most of the time.

A long flight though.
