Anywhere like Corsica but cheaper?

A long shot I know! We went there (Calvi) for our honeymoon a few years ago and LOVED it. After a wet week camping in the UK this year I've vowed to book abroad for next year. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What I loved about corsica was the little coves backed by pine trees and mountains, nice towns, and the general lack of Burger Kings, drunken teenagers, tourist tat etc. Have also liked Soller in Majorca and some of the quieter resorts in Corfu.

Kids are young enough to be happy with paddling in the sea/pool so don't need any entertainment as such but a few nice restaurants would be nice.

Any good ideas mners?

What about Palau in Northern Sardinia (fly to Olbia)? It should be a bit cheaper than Corsica but is very similar in climate and landscape.

East coast of Cyprus. We are flying out there on friday.

Around the Pernera area which doesn't attract the 18-30 element found further down the coast in Ayia Napa.

Sea is gorgeous and plenty of restaurants to choose from. You can stay in a hotel or find a villa to rent. Only drawback is the 4.5 to 5 hour flights.

Oh yes, it's HOT HOT HOT.

Praia de rocha and Alvor on the Algarve - yes it is rather 'touristy' in mid summer but we went to Praia the first two weeks in May this year and it was pretty peaceful. The beaches are incredible.....going to Alvor on Weds and feel it may be rather busier!
