10wks Eastern Europe - we are off!!!!

Off regular mumsnet for 10wks how will I do it.
Am totally excited just want to officially sign off - will return when I can. 20wks pregnant, dh and dd (17mths) will be visiting over the next 10wks...
Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania and Greece before heading back to London to fly back to settle in NZ.

OOOh, I LOVE Eastern Europe. Go to Lake Bled in Slovenia, Budapest's Szechney Baths in the City Park have the most awsome swimming pool (the sluglet adored it). Go to Lake Balaton and if you can, go to the salt mines in Krakow.

Have a fab time chuffed. And don't forget to bring your top tips back here. Dh and I quite fancy Eastern Europe when we next get round to travelling

Just checking in. Recommend don't take a small wheeled buggy through the baltics we are very thankful for the mountain buggy the cobbles are a killer.
All going well, can't believe we are 10days in. Currently in Vilnius spent today exploring the town. Off in two days for Minsk Belarus.
dd has been sooo good.
No top tips yet but I can tell anybody where the children's playgrounds are in Tallin, Riga, Siguilda? and we found one today in Vilnius but it wasn't that great.
Will check in when I can.

We survived Belarus just and managed to get into Poland. Almost a week travelling through Poland, 4 days in Czech Republic and we are now in Sofia after a wedding in France. 6wks to go.
A small container of bubbles goes a long way as easy entertainment when there is a lull in what you are doing or if you have to wait for buses, trains etc.

Seems like such a long time since we were away. Enjoy every moment

Hard to believe there is less than a month left.
Bump is well out there as now hitting 3rd trimester and all has gone pretty smoothly.
Not a lot we would do any differently which so far which is nice to know.
Currently in Bratislava and in less than a week we will be doing the coast Croatia through to Greece which hopefully will be lovely and warm and relaxing.

Must have a look at a map one of thes days and work out where on earth you are.
