Neilson or Mark Warner - with an active teen

Hi there,

I'm thinking of taking a club holiday in September with my DS, DH will not be able to get away from work!

DS is 18 and generally active, swims, plays tennis, enjoys mountain biking and would probably enjoy sailing / windsurfing. Not terribly into art galleries / culture which is what we normally do.

I don't want to have to hire a car but would like to have some interesting local places to walk, taxi or bus to (or join an organised trip). I enjoy swimming and would be interested in having a try at sailing. I enjoy walking and would probably join pilates classes etc.Apart from that I would like to lie by the pool or sea- reading.

We both enjoy good food and I would prefer if drinks / snack are not massively expensive (although used to London prices), would be good if there was a fridge in the room for bottles of water.

Have only been on one club holiday - Club Med in the mountains many years ago, which we all enjoyed.

Any recommendations or thoughts about where not to go appreciated.

NOt sure about Neilson, we did a Mark Warner but they are very geared towards families with younger children. Have you thought about Sunsail?

Yes, looked at Sunsail but they don't have availability for dates which suit.
