Will a 7 month old be ok at altitude?

Alpine altitude that is, rather than Himalayan. Would like to go over to France in Jan but are we likely to cause little DS any probs?

Are you really worried?

I and plenty other people were/are born at "altitude" I can assure you that most of us survive.

Only need to think about this if you are going above about 3000 meters. This is unlikely in France I think.

No only 2000 max I would think. DS was born at sea level though. Just wanted to make sure he would be ok. DP feigns has probs with altitude, hence my enquiry.
