Romantic weekend in the west midlands next week????

My lovely parents have offered to look after DD for a night next so we can go away (its our anniversary). Does any one have any ideas about where would be good?

We spent a weekend in Worcester at Digitalis Hotel. Lovely rooms, great accommodation right by the river, lots to see and do.

Or Stratford is lovely? You can have a look round stratford and warwick castle if you're there a couple of days?

Hotel du Vin in central Birmingham is lovely and you're close by for romantic walks along the canals around Brindley Place and The Mailbox - yes, scoffers, Birmingham really can be romantic!
