Hotel suggestions by the sea please

I need some recommendations for hotels by the sea. Going away on a weekend to cheer my dad up with dd and dh. We want to go on the August Bank holiday just for two nights. Preferably not more than £150 per room per night. Have looked at recommendations but a lot are booked up. Any suggestions. Anywhere that is less than 2 hours drive from North London is ok so Brighton, Dorset, Bournemouth, Suffolk, Norfolk etc but not Cornwall or south devon.Oh need baby listening or sitting service too.

have you tried Fairfields's? seems to have had much less publicity than other "child friendly" places so maybe less booked up? info on the link i posted earlier. otherwise i can recommend a self-catering holiday co in dorset.
