Chessington- a word of warning.

Now I am a Chessington virgin- have never taken dcs- they haveonly been with friends,
But dd (13) planned to go today with her friend who has a pass.
So yesterday went online to get the discounted one day ticket (£27instead of £32) and went for the print off ticket option-as the plan was they would go on the bus.
By this morning tickets hadn't been emailed through, though my confirmation had. Rand them at 9, they said I had to come and pick them up as they had been booked less than 24 hours before the day.

So I had to drive them and take my card to the advance ticket booth to get the ticket.
I queried it with the (very nice) lady- she said it was on the website about the 24 hour thing. Well it may be hidden away in the terms and conditions, but there is no mention of it as you are booking, and the website allowed me to click print tickets option, and the confirmation agreed my tickets would be emailed to me. It actually in T and C's says 48 hours, not 24- but again, lets you pick that option.
Oh and there is a hidden £1 charge for paying by credit/debit card.

Wish I'd just given her £32 in cash......

Poor you. Probably would have been cheaper to give her the money. Can't believe how expensive it is to go!
