Legoland in the rain or go to work?

Not as much a no-brainer as it appears!

Legoland pros: ds1 has never been, friend coming with has ds same age and is off work, and ds2 will be in nursery, so is a unique chance to go
cons: it is forecast to tip it down all day

Work pros: I only started my job last week and I am loving it and really want to get on with it cos there is loads I want to do
cons: I've never been in a job where I've had to book leave before and feel a bit scared about having booked the leave and then turning up anyway!

BTW I haven't mentioned the trip to ds1 yet, so he won't be any the wiser if we don't go.

What would you do?

go to work. You will appear dedicated and enthusiastic, and as you say DS1 will be none the wiser. Plan it again for next week if possible.

unfortunately we won't be able to rearrange it, it was the only date possible. But yes, I think that work is the option I'd prefer!
