Places to stop with a toddler M4/M5 please

We're going from London to Cornwall next weekend with 15mo ds and he's recently started walking and hates being still for too long so I'm not looking forward to the long journey!

Has anyone got any recommendations of places to stop which have a safe play area/space for him to toddle around in and use up some energy? Most service stations don't really seem geared up for toddlers!

We'll have to stop in Reading to pick up the dsds but looking for next stop probably Bristol/Exeter sort of area so any suggestions welcomed...

Thank you!

Go into Cribbs Causeway at Bristol (just off the M5), and theres soft play in the Mall, or just let him toddle round in there. Good choice of places to eat too

Oh yes I've been to cribbs causeway before but didn't even think about that, didn't know they had soft play either so that's very useful. thanks a lot

any other ideas anyone in case he's asleep when we pass there? (I can hope!)
