Help!
DH and I are driving ourselves mad trying to find an apartment/villa for the first or second week in September.
We want sunshine and a pool and will be taking DS who's 15 months old (hence no hotel as we don't want to be whispering to each other come 7.30 at night!)
Does anyone have any suggestions? We don't want to be somewhere touristy and would be happy with beach or countryside. I'd have been happy using one of the travel agents but it seems difficult to search for apartments or villas and we haven't had time to go into the shops. We're happy to be able to hire a car and drive to local attractions and because of DS's age we don't need it to be full of kids' attractions.
Places we like are Italy, Spain, southern France.
Any advice or recommendations would be very gratefully received!
PS we love food so being able to get local food would be great - are we being too greedy???
