We are meeting my brother in the midlands ish with the children, planned to stay in cheap hotel like travel lodge for 2-3 nights. fine for us with two young children, one a baby, found a nice country hotel actually, cheap.

But everywhere seems to only take 2 children and my brother has 3!

So what do you do? Can you have 3 children stay and they double up?

Travelodge travelodge travelodge. I have stayed in maybe 7 of them with my 3. Cheap, basic but clean, family room takes 2 adults 3 kids, and they even give you a travel cot.

Holiday inn, they are very reasonable, quite often have swimming pools and the children get free breakfast and sometimes free evening food if you eat in the restaurant. They have bar areas as well so you can sit and have a drink without worrying about driving etc. We stay in the one in Ellesmere Port on the way to my parents and it's really lovely. (and not far off travelodge prices for much nicer experience)

What age are your brother's children?

We have three and now that they are bigger we normally split our group up - DH takes DS and I take DD1 & DD2

suzie they are 7/5/3.

He has now decided he wants to take the caravan so we will camp instead. I am sure it will change again though
