*PGL* holidays for kids, any recommendations?

Hi, my friend would like her son and my trio to go on one this summer, they are doing pay for one and one goes free! My first son went in 92 and hated it, just wondered if anyones child has been recently?

ds has done a couple with school(Barton Hall and Normandy), dd with Brownies last year (Marchants Hill) and with school next term. Friends did one en famille a few years back (Barton Hall) and had fun. Another friend's dd went with a friend alone and was happy. Seem well organised and very safety conscious.
