Do you take car seat abroad??

Hi - we're going to Majorca in September with our little boy who will be 11 months old. Thought I had got everything right in my mind as to what we need to take then it suddenly dawned on me that we will have to go on a coach for our transfer from the airport to the hotel. Do I need to take the car seat with us?? Seems like a massive item to take for that journey but then I know there won't be child seats on the bus. Help! Can anyone offer any tips?

Would there even be seatbelts on a coach to attach to a child seat?

Probably not! Just wonder what everyone else does?? Hang onto them for dear life. Usually the coach journey is the worst bit of the entire trip - the drivers are crazy

No - its a right pita but there probably wont be seatbelts so yes just hang onto them - have you got a sling - they are closer to you that way.

Yes I have a sling- that might be an idea and won't take up much room in my bag. Good thinking.
