Did anyone watch this? What did you think? I was so disappointed. I actually took the “Rob Rinder- serious criminal barrister professional sceptic” blurb seriously. But he never even raised the possibility that the “smoking gun” documents could be both authentic and contemporary, and still factually incorrect. No mention that people might get the facts wrong. Or lie out of fear or ambition or for any number of other reasons. Isn’t this basic?

DH and I watched and did not find it at all convincing.

We thought exactly the same. Correct age of a document doesn't by any means prove the accuracy of the content.
