Topical and somehow comforting. The gradual progress in public health measures are covered as well as the pandemics and social effects.

I’m only part way through but it’s very interesting. (Apparently carrying sticks or rods to enforce social distancing was common during the plague. Maybe that will catch on?)

I’ve also watched all John Merriman’s Yale lectures on French and European history in the past too (same YouTube channel) and really enjoyed those, if anyone fancies something less topical/more diverting.

There are other history lecture series on there too, as well as other subjects and disciplines.

Hope someone finds this useful lockdown fare.
