I particularly love the way the front cover illustration basically depicts an Ann Summers party.

God's nails, things got fruity in the 17th century, didn't they? I love the Joy of Sex-type pictures.

I wonder if Gillian Bagwell read it while working on her admirably well-researched and filthy novel about Nell Gwynn.
