Hi.
I've spent this afternoon looking for courses I can do at home.
I would like to study social care of some kind and have found an interesting course with these people. It costs about £385, so before I pay all that (or start saving actually) I just wanted to ask if anyone else had used them and are they good?
they're not one of those ones that are a bit of a scam are they?

Not a scam. I did an AS with them about 5 years ago. Not a lot of support there - tutor marked worked and eventually answered emails and I had to sort out my own exams, but the materials were good.

Hi I have just completed a Certificate in Pre-School pratice with them. My tutor was helpful, again when she did answer my emails and I found the whole home learning very easy. It works if you are self motivated. All my course work and info arrived very quickly and there was always someone at the end of the phone re other issues that were not tutor based. I was lucky I did not have any exams mine was all assignments.
Hope this helps

Hi
I know its a a bit late. I just completed my level 2 CPP with the NEC. I have just started the new level 3 course,(Children and young peoples work force) not with the NEC as I was not convinced about doing it with them. I go to college 1 day a week.
I thought the Nec was great and had lots of support.
