as thinking of a career change as ive worked in insurance companies for years and i hated it!!.

Have been thinking by the time my youngest will start school (she is 17 months old now), ill be in full time employment as i will be going back to work. (i am a SAHM atm).

I love children and I am going along the college opening day next week but i just want an idea of what to expect!....

Also, i couldnt find on my local college website if I will get any help on the financial side as we are skint!

many thanks

You usually need to speak to your local Children's/Family Information Service & ask about Childminding Induction Courses. Our LA run them at various places around the county either in the evenings or daytime and on these will tell you about what is involved in becoming registered and also a bit about being a Childminder. These courses are run by experienced Early Years Team Staff from the Childminding Team and are happy to answer any questions you have.
