What do I need to do to become a midwife?

I have decided I would like to become a midwife. I am planning on starting my training etc once I have finished having babies. We are going to have on more and are going to start TTC later this year.

I want to start looking into it now so I am aware of what I need to do. They do a course at the college nearest to me. It says I need to have 60 credits to achieve the diploma, then it gives a list of subjects. Do I need to have qualifications in those subjects or is that what I study while doing the course?

This is the course.

Thanks.

you can do an access course for midwifery & nursing which will then get you your credits to apply for a midwife course at uni.
