I loved being a student! No council tax and my daughter came with me to Cambridge. She went to the uni nursery and we had lovely chats in the car on the way home.

Contact your local college or university for advice - they will have the up-to-date info on the financial side.

If you are having problems with your employer, don't quit yet! Join the union. Talk to a specialist solicitor and keep records of whatever is going on. I can recommend PJH Law in Stamford.

I'd say this is a great time to study given the credit crunch - and I won't mention my student debt! Good luck
