oh FFS!!! how the heck am I supposed to get on the bloody course?

sorry for swearing . I have been teachign Basic Skills for a year,on a short term contract, but not qualified. Want to carry on when we move back to UK, but cannot get on the course to do it without a teaching placement, and guess what, for the placement you have to have a basic qualification

Where are you based now? Is there anywhere that offers something via distance learning?

I am in Germany, which makes things even harder - I cannot get the qualification without doing the teaching practise and cannot do the practise without a qualification!!!! grrrrrr

Would it not be possible to count your current work as a teaching practice, given that you're in Germany? Or is there an "equivalent" qualification you can do now which could be "converted" at a later date?
