On tuesday I was poorly
On Wednesday I went to do my dad's account then made a victorian costume for DD
Today I was too tired

This does not bode well for the future

Well, yes you will have to open it, once you make a start it will be OK!

Good luck.

If its anything like the management stuff I did a few years back the first bit will be all about time management and how you are going to fit the OU course into your life.

OPEN THE BOX

Maybe on Saturday

I have some time on Saturday (I think?)

Much about decision making in there?

KatyMac · 09/10/2008 23:15

I am getting better at decisions

I sacked/laid off/made redundant 5 people this year (& I hated eery minute of it)

I have set aside Saturday from 7am until 2pm (normally - but not this week - this week is 7am till 11:30 plus 7am til 10am on Sunday) to work

Setting aside time is good.

Once you have opened the box and looked through the stuff it won't seem so scary. Just be aware that when OU say a course will take 8-10 hours a week they are usually lying, add another few hours AT LEAST.

Enjoy it, it didn't make the hard decisions (and actions) any easier but I really enjoyed using my brain in a different way and learnt loads.

KatyMac · 09/10/2008 23:26

I'm on 5-6 hrs a week (I think/hope)

Oh the best bit is opening the box and finding out what you have got!

Its all down hill from there though.

Open the box - you can't manage your time and make plans until you know exactly when your assignments are due. It will only take a few minutes to look through and check that you have everything.

I have lots & lots of books

Most of them appear to be telling me how to study - & one missing book - to follow & a text book & a book that I think tells me what to do

But I will read it tomorrow

Have you found the course website and 'first class conference'?
If there is a forum for your course it helps as u can see if there is anyone else in the same boat and gives u a push to read all the bumph.

Good Luck

KatyMac · 10/10/2008 17:32

Oo oo another forum

How do I log on - I bet I have to read something

OP posts:
KatyMac · 16/10/2008 18:52
