OU Open Degree - are there any downsides? With relation to EYPS?

I can do an OU open degree

I get 120 (odd) points from previous (unrelated study)

So I only need to do 360 - 120 is 240 (so 2x60 points at level 2 & 3 each)

I gues 2 or 3 yrs

Then I could do a short(ish) EYPS & be qualified

I could mix business & childcare to get a relevant degree

But do people count an Open Degree?
