Conservatoire applicants 2027

Hello,

DS is applying to RNCM, he’s putting his application in tomorrow. Applications close 1st October. Is anyone else going through the process with conservatoires and fancy sharing the process and no doubt stress of auditions and waiting?!

@wlv12 sort of here. But a mix of CUCAS and MT applications.

Second go at it for DD. I'm very very hands off.

Where else is he applying to? DD has applied to 5 on CUCAS and then the rest will be direct applications. It is incredibly time consuming.

Hello @wlv12 @Autumnallaround - a new thread has been started today for drama schools. DD is also applying this year for the first time to CUCAS and some others too-I think 9 in total....

DS has just realised the early close date for CUCAS - and has missed the window. Cr*p.

Mine did this last year. @fridgefullofplums sorry to hear that. There may be some direct entry ones still open but otherwise what about a gap year? There's a lot of admin to keep up with during the application process.

My DS has also applied to RNCM - we’re now in the horrible wait to see if he gets an audition. He decided late he wanted to apply and had to learn Beat It in 24hours….

@Enterthewolves DD has had callbacks from Trinity and Guildhall so far. So much faster than the MT process!
