Hello. My DS is going to UCL to study History - it was his insurance choice and we had a few stresses about accomoodation but sorted that on results day and I think he is now actively looking forward to going. However, I am finding it very difficult to find out from him what emails he has received and whether he has registered etc. My brother's DC went to a different uni last year and I know he had registered, chosen his options and had his timetable before he left. My DS seems to have none of this.
I want to mainly leave it in his hands because I recognise this is part and parcel of Uni but I am also conscious he has been at a UK boarding school for the last 5 years and has been very spoonfed (in the nicest way!) about what needs to be done when. Can anyone enlighten me about what their DC who are going to UCL have done in terms of admin? He tells me freshers week (welcome week) is 28/9/26 so we have some time.
