Leeds accommodation contract starts before freshers week, when should he move in?

Apologies if there is already a thread for Leeds starters but DS got his accommodation contract today (Central Village) and it says it starts on the 11th September. Does that mean he should go then or wait until the week after when we thought freshers week starts

So the 11th is a friday? Does Freshers start the following monday - so 3 days later? In which case move in the sat or sun? Remember he won't get his student loan until first day of term (normally).

If term isn't until the 21st I wouldn't move in until the weekend before.

My DD is planning on moving in on the Friday. Unimpressed by the greediness of expecting another week’s rent.
