Computer Science - University of Manchester Clearing.

Hi,
Looked at clearing courses in Computer Science this year to give me a rough idea as to what was available / grades as DC will be in yr 13 and applying for Computer Science.

I know availability of courses in clearing differs from year to year. Somehow missed looking at University of Manchester - Anyone happen to know what were the clearing grades for Computer Science at Manchester please this year?

I may be wrong but I’m pretty certain that any of the top, say, 10 places for computer science don’t have any spaces in Clearing.

Actually - if you were looking you’ll probably know if I was right or not! What did you discover? Which unis did have places in Clearing and at what grades? Presumably not Warwick, Bath, Imperial…?

I might be remembering wrong but I dont think they lowered grades in clearing for comp science at Manchester. I think it was for people trading up. Leeds had for AAB.

CS at Manchester has high grade requirements (AAA) and is hugely oversubscribed. It doesn’t tend to make it to clearing.

They requested 2 A stars and an A. They didnt go into clearing. I think they would have accepted one dropped grade, 2 dropped grades would have been 50/50 at best.
