Where has the group WIWIKAU

This Facebook group has disappeared. I haven’t been taken out of the group. It’s just gone! Does anyone know what has happened to it?

I can see the group but the last post was July 24 and I can only see the actual groups posts and not any of the parent posts 🤔

Yes, i just checked and it there, although not showing new posts on my news feed

I am actively in the group and there are three posts I have not read yet. I find I ‘drop off’ Facebook groups if I am not regularly reading posts or commenting.

It's still there. The first post on my feed is a WIWIKAU post from 58 minutes ago.

Still there for me too and last post was 22 mins ago.

I can see it as usual. Wonder if you’ve been accidentally removed?

They’re very quick to ban people so you may have been removed

It asks to follow group I’m pretty sure that you join group. Bizarre! I’ll have another look.

If you are banned it’s not visible to you. They don’t warn or send a message just ban.

Why would they ban someone. I hardly post 🤔

They tend to ban people who recommend other groups or links. They don’t want people to find alternatives.

Oh yes I did do this. I only directed someone to a specific parents university group group. Would that get me banned 😮. Anyway to get back on? Wow I didn’t realise this.

What a pain, they have a really unusable web forum and expect people to go there rather than other Facebook groups. I don’t know how you’d get back on.

Yes - I got banned for similar! Just DM the admins and apologise - they'll reinstate you.

Ban if you inadvertently break rules. Eg someone is asking a very niche question about bed size at x hall at university of y and you reply the y parent group is helpful.

They ignored me and didn’t reinstate…

They see it as directing traffic away from their site (presumably it makes them money from advertising) They have individual university groups on their clunky website which get no traffic.

Such a shame as it was a really good website for info.

I’d try and get reinstated.
I didn’t bother as my dd was already at uni so I used to reply to pay forward knowledge so didn’t affect me not being on.

How could I get reinstated?

I did the same, someone had got no responses whatsoever and so I just said to try the uni parent group instead! However I only got banned for one week and then was allowed back on. So harsh!! 🫣🤣🤣 I would try and Facebook message the admins of the group or contact them via their website if you really want to get back on there. I don’t really understand as their website is really unusable and their individual uni pages just don’t get used at all!
