University Halls Bristol university

DD got allocated university halls at Bristol university. It says it is en-suite.

Anyone with experience of this accommodation?

Does she need to move as soon as her tenancy agreement start?

None of ours went to Bristol for undergrad, but at the two universities where they were in halls, Birmingham and UEA, the moving in days were immediately before the freshers / welcome / induction week, so had they not moved in at the beginning of their contracts, they would have missed out on introductory sessions (some ccompulsory for DS1, who was studying a lab subject) as well as social activities.

Yes, DC very happy and made firm friends. Shared bathroom. Kitchen basic, dated, but clean and bright. Bedroom basic, but they make it their own. Nice communal modern common room. Set in a lovely leafy place, close to bus stop. From memory, arrived day very near start of contract and plenty of others moving in at the same time.

Meant to say... Goodluck to DD! Do they know their accommodation before their results? Or is she grades in hand? I can't remember time line.

PS I think those little flats maybe have both a shared bathroom and maybe one bedroom with an ensuite. A kitchen. No living room, but nice separate common room which sort of forces them out to mix so I think quite social.
