Hello, looking for a bit of advice re uni applications. My son’s is a talented dancer currently studying at a performing arts college. He’s starting to think about uni course and is being advised to apply to Wilkes and Urdang. I have no clue about these places and wondered if anyone could advise- cost is a major concern for me as to whether it will be worth it for him. And of those two which would be the better choice. We’re in the north but there just doesn’t seem to be anywhere closer to home - or are we missing something? We know about NSCD but he doesn’t want to do contemporary dance sadly- Leeds would have been ideal.

Why is he not considering moving south? The thing is, the vast majority of work is still in and around London so he’s very likely going to have to move there for work anyway or end up travelling down a lot. I used to work in the ents industry and the people who aren’t flexible to move to London just get stuck because there aren’t enough opportunities for work.

Hi, no he is considering those places, my question is, are those places worth it/reputable given the huge cost and probable low earnings in his chosen field? I’m a single parent so he will have to take on massive loans and financial burden of them.
