We’ve had this Open day in the diary but failed to make a booking. Has anyone turned up without a booking and being turned away?

I don’t want to waste time with the journey But equally, don’t want wait till the next one in the autumn…

Thanks everyone. Still trying to decide. I rang them and they said an emphatic no! but that’s the formal line of course. I’d just hate to be turned away at first point.

we’d go by train so not adding to traffic issue!

I live just down the hill from the Uni. Traffic/congestion-wise, Bath is going to be wild on Saturday! Bath Rugby is playing home to Exeter for the semis and the council is busy digging up a lot of central Bath (so buses are re- routed etc).

Unless you are hoping to firm up Uni choices, I would wait until Autumn open days.

I can second this, I live a couple miles outside Bath and I wouldn’t even attempt to travel on any of the roads into Bath or the Uni. Every open day it’s the same.

Are you getting the open day bus up the hill? As they may check for open day bookings before they let you on.

Yes, I think DS had to show his qr code before we could join the bus queue outside the train station.

I went on the waiting list about 4 weeks ago and got tickets through yesterday. As it happens we now can't go, so I cancelled the tickets, but it might be worth joining the waiting list even now, as something might still come up.
