Please help, how do we add Dance points to a UCAS form?

How does my daughter add the points from her dance exams please? She has some that are RAD and some that are ISTD. We can’t see a Center number on her certificates, and her dance school isn’t a drop-down option. Thank you.

Can you contact the dance school to find out its centre number?

Do you need to add them though – is she going for unis which require UCAS points – and if so, will her A levels/Btecs fall short? If not then I wouldn't worry too much.

Are they high enough grade? I think it’s grade 6 and up that counts towards ucas.

Don’t recall dd having issues or needing to enter a centre no. She had several dance, drama and music qualifications to add I think on same section as gcses. Only certain grades attract ucas points.

Don’t most degrees want the points from A levels or equivalent? Dance points weren’t relevant to my DDs degrees. If they are relevant, check the level of dance qualification.

If you scroll down guidance here.
For competitive courses they offer on A level grades.
For points offers some accept any points, some say from 3 A levels etc.
Grade 6 and above count. Especially if getting Distinctions they attract quite a lot of points. I think mine had CC equivalent from her dance.
We added them. She’d earned them and they were there just in case.
Maybe our sense of humour but when she was doubting herself in summer before results we joked you can always go to local uni (ex poly) on the dance points. No they weren’t needed she made her grades offer.

You don't need the centre number or dance school. There should be an option that says RAD/ISTD on the drop down. You can use grades 6-8 and Intermediate but not Adv 1.

Many universities won't count them but some will. My dd needed them as she only took 2 A levels (due to attending full time ballet school) but had a change of direction.

My DD1 had loads of music points too but I don’t think her MFL degree wanted them! Adding up all her points far exceeded what some courses wanted - but - they wanted A level points.
