I am working as a home carer and have been offered to do my NVQ level 2 in health and social care.
I did a GNVQ in H&SC at 6th form 10yrs ago, but I didnt do very well in it, just seemed to be a mish mash of lots of different subjects and not very orientated to one particular job.
Not sure if I really need to do the NVQ or if it will be a waste of time. Employers dont seem to know either!
