Anyone who has taken the TMUA and / or MAT fairly recently. Can you help?

We’re trying to find out if it will be blank paper or some kind of whiteboard (and if so, what) that will be provided for workings out.

Pearson are being less than helpful - saying yes, it is likely to be one of them, check with the test centre on the day!

DS is keen to know in advance what to expect and if I can, I’d like to get him a whiteboard to get used to in advance as similar as possible.

Can anyone share their experiences?

In Pearson test centres the whiteboard is a number of A4 laminated sheets written on with a non permanent marker pen. They are described as whiteboards because they are wiped clean by the exam centre after each exam. The only difference between a normal sheet of paper and the whiteboard is the sustainability aspect as they are reusable. The ones we use are squared paper

It basically looks like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0578806428?ref=ppxyo2ovdtbfedasintitle. Last year some centres provided this, a few pen and paper, and a few just a laminated board. I think they were supposed to have the laminated booklet, so given that it is the second year Pearson are running it hopefully it will be bit more consistent. My DC was able to request a second booklet when the first one was full.

In fact I posted these pictures last year in answer to almost the same Q
