Halls - all medical students

Looking for some advice or reassurance.
Having received all offers for medicine my child dropped a grade and did not meet the requirements for their firm course. They were offered their insurance at the same uni and was offered their first choice of halls based on their original firm choice.

We have moved them in today and all others in the flat are medical students. I am worried this is going to impact their uni experience as they will be unable to connect with the others as much. The uni offers a large med soc and so worry even social activities will be different.
can anyone offer any thoughts or reassurance? I wonder if we should see if there is any alternative accommodation available or am I being irrational in my concerns?
So not to drop feed later, they are very happy with the course they are doing and had considered picking it over medicine after open days but had been convinced by school to continue to pursue medicine.

There is often a lot of movement in halls in the first few weeks. If it is bothering your daughter then she could ask the accommodation office if there is any option to move. On the other hand she might make some lovely medical friends! My dd is a medic and she deliberately chose not to live with other medics in second year - so your DD may find that everyone wants the non medic friend!

@FanSpamTastic thank you for your kind reply, that puts my mind at ease a bit. They are totally un phased by it and think it will work out.

Presumably it is still a related degree course? Med socs are often open to other students.
