Which insurance for halls/DC at uni?

I’ve checked my home insurance and DD isn’t covered for when she’s at uni. Can anyone recommend good insurance companies for student property away from home? My biggest concern is covering her laptop.

Does insurance come with halls, some do offer it? DS's first year halls did (Endsleigh) but it only provided basic cover and only in halls. We extended the policy with Endsleigh. Urban Jungle is often recommended and we are looking at that for second year private student accommodation

I forgot about that—it does offer very basic cover, but not for a £2k laptop, which is the really the only thing I’m bothered about insuring.

@Ineedcoffeenow check whether they can extend it. We did, to cover equipment but also to cover when out and about

I think some bank accounts offer insurance? That might be a bit outdated though.
