Any experience of BASc (UCL)?

DC is very interested in this for entry 2026. They have high predicted grades across STEM and MFL A-levels but can’t land on an obvious degree specialism. They’re also very keen on London.

On paper this looks really attractive as an option, but I’m concerned it may not be as employable as more traditional degrees, and also a bit worried that it caters much more for international students who have the funding and background to move to a graduate degree afterwards.

I know a few people who did this degree, they went into tech/product/consulting type stuff. None of them did postgrad either.

Probably not as employable as traditional STEM but definitely better than arts/humanities.

Alternatively you could probably do STEM with a language elective and/or year abroad

Thanks @CraftyNavySealthat’s interesting. Obviously there’s still a lot for DC to think through (and, financially, London would be a real stretch for us) but it does at this stage seem to tick a lot of boxes
