Open Uni - BA in Early Years

I am just about to finish my level 3 in early years and I am thinking about a degree next.

Does anyone have any experience with the open uni courses and how difficult it is learning alone?

Anyone ?

I don't have any info on the OU, but as a student myself, I think it's better to go to a local uni (presuming there is one near you) as in terms of socialising/feedback, it can be invaluable. I'm sure others will hopefully be able to give you positive advice about the OU, but in my experience, it can be VERY isolating stuck at home studying.
