Looking for advice…
DD has a conditional offer. Do we look for accommodation now? What happens to the deposit if she doesn’t get the grades she needs?

Actually- did you mean it had changed since applying for the Uni- renaming the rooms and bands etc?

I probably did mean that. I had looked at accommodation back in October and wrote a list of rooms 1-7 that would suit DC, but when I actually logged on, there were different rooms available, or rather some options I thought would be available were not and new options appeared. So there were 3 rooms in Vanbrugh, catered, that all worked, with our without ensuites, but I'd been under the impression there were only 2 in Vanbrugh. There was an extra large room option that I'd not known about. Similarly with Derwent (fewer options) and James (1 more option than expected). Not sure why, maybe they just keep the fine details for when you're applying for a room?

I think it’s because theychanged some of the descriptions and info this year before the accommodation application process changed.

DD just paid a deposit at Lancaster for her halls choice that was offered through the accom portal.
It says online it will be returned if she does not get the grades required.
