Student finance application mistake 😩

I mistakenly somehow clicked to decline giving information to support DD student finance application. Tried briefly to get through to SFE but I think it might be easier for DD to try and do it via her account. Anyone had similar experience? Feel so incompetent and I’m not sure how I did it ☹️

I think you should try harder than briefly! That seems the simplest solution.

Don’t worry too much. My dd didn’t do hers till well after the deadline and she got it straight away and before university started.

Thanks, what I meant was in between work things today I tried to get through on the phone but it was all select 1, select 2 etc so didn’t have time to make make any progress. Just wanted to see if anyone else had ever had to correct anything.

It can be corrected but you’ll have to do it by paper form in my experience, so you need to get on the phone tomorrow and get it sorted

Thanks all, managed to get through today and can re set account and correct it online or paper form. Phew!

DS made a mistake with his last year and we found the paper form online and sent that in, it took a few weeks IIRC but it was sorted.
