Applying now for 2026 entry - student finance and accommodation

DD is taking a year out (medical) but is applying now for 2026 entry and has a couple of offers so far.

We’re a bit confused as to when to apply for student finance and accommodation however. She’s already had an email from Durham asking to list her preferred colleges, and even tgst we weren’t sure if she was supposed to do that now or next year!

Finance will be around March next year. Accommodation varies between unis, but generally they wouldn't be involving students for next year whilst trying to organise this year's cohort.
Might get worth just checking with Durham, but with the collegiate system, the process might be different.

The student finance one is easy - applications for 2026 entry won't be an option on the website until about March of next year.
