OU Degree - How long did it take you?

I have toyed with doing one for four years...might have bloody done one by now...

I did an openings couse and loved it then we had a stillbirth and I came off track.Really want to fulfill life long ambition and become a primary teacher but 41 this year and wonder if I have time??!!

How long did it take you?

So sorry about your stillbirth chocolate.
I did an ou degree while I held down a full time (and pretty challenging) job - pre children I might add. It took 6 years. However, the great thing about the OU is the flexibility to study more than 1 course at a time - as long as you have the study time. I studied about 15 hours a week, but I know someone that managed to get their honours degree in 3 years - she did study about 25-30 hours.
I would say you're never too old for anything - think what great life experience you can bring. And the OU is great - and among the top 20 performing universities in the country. Get the prospectus... you can't loose anything!
