Can anyone tell me how OU send their results? We were expecting the final result today but they seem they seem to have sent the grades of the last two modules.

I’ve read that they are sent separately in a few days but not really on anything official. Seems a bit harsh to not be able to celebrate today! Thank you

I think that sounds about right, from what I remember! If it’s your final modules, you should be able to work out your final grade/ class of degree? You’ll get a nice certificate soon 😊

Thanks for your reply @IOSTT. Can I just clarify - so if they’ve given the last two grades of the final modules, then you can take that as your grade. Or is it that you take those two final grades and do the calculation using the other grades throughout the last few years?

It’s not me, it’s my dc who is abroad incase you’re wondering why I’m so daft that I don’t know!

Sorry, I can’t actually remember, it’s been a decade since I graduated with the OU! There should be information explaining how it works for the student on their OU student page, or they might be able to contact their tutor to find out. Otherwise, I think they will get an email in a couple of days time with their final grade 😊

You should be informed of your degree class (2.1 etc) within a few days of getting your final module result, so sit tight, shouldn't be long!
